About our Principal Role
A bit cliche I admit but this really is a great opportunity to join Oasis Blakenhale Infant & Junior school as our Principal.
Why you may ask? and that's a great question! Firstly from a career perspective you are joining at a great time. This is a "good academy" and we're rightly proud of the excellent behaviour shown by our students and the positive attitudes shown to their learning. It's a great position to be in and to build further from. In terms of facilities you'll see that we're a large primary school with a range of great spaces to be able to utilise. You'll also be joining us as part of the Oasis family and we really are a family. You won't just do things in isolation here, you have a team of experienced staff in place all helping to ensure we offer the best opportunities ultimately to our pupils and communities.
You'll be key in the next step of our journey which will see all pupils exceling academically and going on a journey of personal growth and talent discovery and going on to be citizens who can contribute meaningfully to their communities. We've been expertly guided recently by our interim Principal but now is the right time to find our new permanent Principal.
About Oasis Blakenhale Infant & Junior Academy
You’ll be joining a large Academy with great facilities and outdoor space, access to community hub and where every child has their own iPad. On Friday’s we run a collapsed timetable where enrichment is at the heart of the curriculum, there’s a huge variety of activities and clubs for our students to get involved in and this is something we’re proud of.
What's important to us?
Someone who can connect with our ethos and our 9 habits and ensure that children and staff being the best versions of their professional selves are at the heart of all decision making.
